Experience: Jonathan has over 20 years of experience in the accountancy profession advising both owner managed businesses and charities.
Jonathan trained and qualified with Alexander Sloan CA where he went on to become a Manager in the firm.
On leaving Sloan’s he went to work as a Manager with PKF in Glasgow and then was head hunted to become Senior Manager with Cook and Co in Glasgow prior to him becoming Finance Manager of one of Scotland’s National Churches.
During his time in the Church he helped to guide trustees through the many changes required to comply with new charity regulations which had come into being.
The experience gained both in practice and as Finance Manager has provided enormous insight into the needs of both charities and business owners and means that Jonathan is well placed to provide the advice you need for your organisation.
Outside Work: Jonathan is married with three children. He is an active member of his local church and is the treasurer of a number of charities.

Experience: After 10 years of audit and IT consulting with KPMG in Edinburgh and Sydney Australia, Alison returned to Scotland to work with Prudential for 8 years in a number of roles including Finance Director for Scotland.
A year at Barnardo’s Scotland as Finance Director preceded a 5 year career break for maternity reasons before returning to work in October 2012 with Innes and Partners.
Having held senior roles in business and the charitable sector, and in both accounting and IT, she brings a broad strategic perspective to the firm's clients.
Outside Work: Alison is married with one child. She is a trustee and the treasurer of Business Matters, a charity supporting Christians in business in Edinburgh and an Elder in the Church of Scotland.

Experience: Helen qualified with Chartered Accountancy firm Downie Wilson (now Scott Moncrieff), before moving abroad for a number of years, spending time in Greece, China and South Korea, where experiences included being treasurer to an International church in Athens and volunteering in an orphanage in Guangzhou, Southern China.
After returning to the UK, Helen worked as the finance manager for a small family owned business in Paisley for 3 years, before spending a year in the finance department of Bethany Christian Trust. She then returned to working within practice at RSM Tenon (now Baker Tilly) for 2 years within their Audit, Tax and Advisory department before joining Innes & Partners in October 2013.
Having worked within various sectors, she brings a breadth of experience and skills to the firm, particularly of running and managing small businesses and charities.
Outside Work: Helen is married with three children. She is an active member of her local church in Linlithgow.

Experience: Fiona joined Innes & Partners on 1 January 2011 having previously trained and qualified with Smith Hodge & Baxter in Kettering where she worked for 12 years.
She has been involved in the preparation and audit of statutory accounts for owner managed businesses, monthly management accounts, personal and corporate tax returns.
Fiona has also been involved in assisting clients with the implementation of Sage and Farmplan accounting software, staff training and support.
Outside Work: Fiona enjoys reading, crafting and working with children and young adults eg. Girls Brigade, Sunday School and Holiday Clubs. She is an active member in her local church.
